Aid to municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants
The Law 42 / 2006 of 28 December on general state Budgets for 2007 established, as a special funding mechanism of municipalities with not exceeding 20,000 inhabitants, a fund to meet current transfers for these municipalities.
This special arrangement remained in force between the years 2007-2011, setting the LPGE each year the distribution criteria.
