DOBLE REUNIÓN PARA COORDINAR LA SEGURIDAD VIAL DURANTE LA 8ª SEMANA EUROPEA DE CICLOTURISMO, A DESARROLLAR EN LAS CARRETERAS ASTURIANAS

Asturias acogerá entre los días 1 y 8 del próximo mes de Julio de 2012 la 8ª Semana Europea de Cicloturismo, que contará con unos 1.500 participantes rodando por las carreteras de la región. Ante el previsible efecto que causará el incremento de ciclistas en la circulación vial desde la Delegación del Gobierno en Asturias el titular, Gabino de Lorenzo, presidió hoy las dos primeras reuniones de coordinación entre los estamentos implicados en el desarrollo de la misma: Federación Asturiana de Ciclismo (organizadora del evento), Dirección General de Tráfico, Dirección General de Interior y Emigración del Principado de Asturias, y Ayuntamientos por los que discurrirán las diferentes rutas organizadas en el marco del evento.
A la primera reunión asistieron:

- FEDERACIÓN ASTURIANA DE CICLISMO- CELSO FERNÁNDEZ, VOCAL RESPONSABLE DE CICLISMO DE CARRETERA, Y RAQUEL DÍAZ, SECRETARÍA Y RESPONSABLE DE RECORRIDOS
- SECRETARIO GENERAL DELEGACIÓN DEL GOBIERNO- JOSÉ LUIS GARCÍA FERNÁNDEZ

En la segunda reunión se incorporaron representantes de los Ayuntamientos por los que circularán los cicloturistas en las fechas de referencia: Gijón, Avilés, Oviedo, Villaviciosa, Siero, Riosa, Colunga, Gozón, Morcín, San Martín del Rey Aurelio, Castrillón, Grado, Las Regueras, Soto del Barco, Carreño, Langreo, Llanera, Noreña, Nava, Sariego y Candamo.
